VOD

The VOD (Video On Demand) system is a client-oriented video system, in which users can actively choose any video program they like.

With the evolution of new technology, Internet creates the new way in every aspect to break though the category of tradition life and learning experience. VOD system is a new tendency that overcomes time and space limitation in remote learning to help students learning anywhere and anytime. Furthermore, for those students who cant anticipate campus activities such as lecture or student social events can watch activities online anywhere anytime through the broadcasting of VOD system. Faculties can assign specific program or homework to students through VOD internet broadcasting.

Faculties and students may use computers in multi-media center or school to watch any kind of film and program. The system can allow many users operate the program at the same time without Internet jam.

Poding Movie Festival

Poding Movie Festival has different themes of movies every semester. The movies show in the iSpace on the 1st floor of library at 6:30 PM every Thursday evening. Poding Movie Festival Homepage.

Music, TV and Leisure Area

The TV area provides more than 55 channels and 3 TV sets. There are 16 comfortable seats with 16 earphone plugs.

Leisure area collects most popular selling books and library special selection. With the music area, it provides the space that readers can relax and enjoy the reading.

The music area is located in Leisure area. The channel selection is in the left arm of the seat. There are 5 channels can be selected.

Navigation Learning Center

The Resources of Navigation Learning Center is a way of providing multi resources, database searches and information researches to user in specific area combining with library collection and multi-media computers. Meanwhile, with the use of library’s audiovisual collections and VOD system, it creates an outstanding learning environment.

  7. Computers, printers and scanner

Multi-media Center Policy

The using of facilities of multi-media center is 3 hours limit that includes audiovisual collections and players. Each item overdue fines is 5 dollars per hour.

Faculty, staff and students are allowed to borrow out some audiovisual collections with verified school ID. Each item overdue fines is 5 dollars per day. Loan limits are as follows:
